I cannot write about Einstein without letting you know right at the start that I admire him so much. He represents in a man all that I aspire to be. He and the Desiderata have carried me through some very hard times.
Notes on E=MC2 . Of course, Einstein did not have in mind the use of a nuclear weapon when he proposed this. He was merely stating the case for the existence of mass. In fact, the actual formula he produced and presented was m=E/C2. No it wasn't even that. He for some reason did not use in his formula and used instead. Such is life. The significance of his understanding of the naure of mass was not even recognised fully until Leo Tsiler (spelling) warned him. The rest is history.
if E=MC2
then M=E/c2
and C2=E/M
Sq root E/m = Speed of light
The speed of light (C) squared was the number that the mass had to be multiplied by to arrive at the energy and I had always had a problem with this (even arguing with a teacher!) I had arranged the 3 factors into a sort of Ohms Law calculator and the C2 always bugged me because it did not look elegant. Normally, mathematics has an elegance at it's base and I spent much time discussing (to not much end) the nature of Time itself. It's fair to say that responses varied between ooh err I have no idea what you are talking about to you are a complete twat so shut up but I kept on made some interesting duductions. For me it was unatural that something had to be multiplied by itslef to resolve the value. I then started to understand that it must either bw one fixed figure (work it out) for use in every single calculation or it was 2 different numbers that coincidentally shared the same value. That was cooking on gas as they say and I immediately used Time and the speed of the EM spectrum through it. Same answer but with one very different aspect, the calculations for the formation of the universe could now vary at the point of the singularity. This would account for the jumble at the very start and amazingly, it fits in with the Newtonian curve
So, this side of the singlularity (time and spacewise) would have been a really bizarre experience to watch. All this energy efusing from apparently nowhere only to coalesce with itself to produce matter which could not travel at the same speed and actually impeded the energy behind it as it coalesced Imagine it like billions of atomic bombs in reverse producing mass to the extent that it filled the universe and went on for millions of years just producing mass. I dont want to tease you but I do deal with this indepth elsewhere so I will add this.
The actual nature of Time itslef and the speed of the constants through it has to be very rigid and orderly. If it were not so, the amount of energy produced from mass would change as the speed of light or the expansion of Time changed. because it has a very distinct relationship to time, any subtle changes in Time or the speed of the constants through it would change the volume of mass which wasd already here as a result!!. Now that would present some problems to physics.
Finally (probably not) the energy release in a nuclear explosion exactly fits the Newtonian curve.
